Public Programs Manager
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Public Programs Manager to join the Australian Opal Centre team. We’re looking for someone who is excited to build on the AOC's successes and lead the growth and enrichment of our educational and cultural programs, with a major new facility and visitor experience expected to open in or around April 2025.
Make your mark developing and delivering exciting programs at the AOC as it prepares to move into its new facility
Part time (0.6 - 0.8 FTE, negotiable)
Looking to grow into a full-time position
Ideally, the successful applicant will be from the region or willing to relocate to Lightning Ridge; a combination of remote and on-site work may be considered for the right applicant

Australian Opal Centre Ltd (AOCL) seeks to appoint a dynamic, visionary and experienced leader to be its next Museum Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position will suit someone with excellent leadership and communication skills, ambition and a visionary drive, to build on the success of recent years and lead AOCL into its next chapter.
